Choosing a Culinary College

cullinaryIf you’ve decided to attend culinary college, one of the first things you must decide is which culinary college you will attend. With the number of culinary colleges out there these days, this process isn’t always easy.

Here are a few tips to help you narrow your culinary college choices:

  • Choose a college that offers financing opportunities, if you need help paying for school.
  • Choose a college with high graduation rates and one that also boasts high employment rates.
  • Choose a culinary school with an alumni network.
  • Choose a college that offers hands-on learning experience as well as restaurant experience. Pick a school with a good teacher-to-student ratio.
  • Choose an accredited college.

In addition, look for a college that offers courses in your area of interest.
